Bulletin Board Round-Up

One of my favorite things about the internet is the abundace of information and opinions available. Looking for advice on where to fish in Montana? Looking for an opinion on 8'6" versus 9'0" fly rods? Want to brag about the 22"+ brown trout you landed last week? That's where bulletin boards come in handy. Here's a few of the ones I cruise to see what's new.

  • The Drake's Bulletin Board

  • Fly Rod & Reel Bulletin Board

  • Fly Fishing Magazines (American Angler, Fly Tyer, and Saltwater Fly Fishing)

  • If I have to recommend one board over another, I'd pick the Fly Fishing Magazines board. The amount and quality of messages posted is the most interesting and helpful. Yahoo! Groups has a TON of psuedo bulletin boards for fly fishing. I'm just starting to explore the hundreds of groups. Check back later for a seperate post on which Yahoo! group might be the most interesting.
